Tab Switcher is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Data Collection

Tab Switcher does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

Specifically, we do not collect:

• Browsing history
• Tab contents or URLs
• Personal information
• Usage analytics
• Any other user data

Local Data

Tab Switcher stores the following data locally on your device:

• Tab thumbnails — Temporarily cached in memory to display in the tab switcher UI. Never saved to disk or transmitted.
• Browser configuration — Your enabled browsers and settings, saved locally to ~/Library/Application Support/TabSwitcher/

This data never leaves your device.

Permissions

The extension requires certain permissions to function:

• tabs — Access tab information (titles, favicons) for the switcher UI
• activeTab — Capture thumbnails of the currently active tab
• nativeMessaging — Communicate with the companion macOS app
• host_permissions — Required to capture tab thumbnails across all websites

Third-Party Services

Tab Switcher does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page.
